This is an oil painting of the marvelous work by ~wendelin THREE EAGLES - Nez Perce.
Basically a technical exercise in oils, after which I realized there's nothing I can't paint. It was tedious and required all my patience, but I'm very proud of the result. (Really felt the advantage of computer brushes and speed when I was working with a 00 brush in oil layers...) I changed his pose a bit to give him that "proud chief" posture I thought he should have.
